As the Lord leads, we seek to inspire and empower believers to communicate the gospel of Christ and His love worldwide. We see the Great Commission as our privilege and responsibility. River Valley prayerfully, logistically, and financially sponsors 17 families who serve in various cross-cultural locations all over the world. We too encourage those within the congregation to continually pray for and support global missionaries. short term teams

Additionally, we offer the opportunity to participate in short terms trips, providing individuals direct contact with cross-cultural missions, as well as gaining a global perspective and experiencing God's work all over the world. 

We have sent teams to Uganda, Congo, Peru, Nepal, Honduras, Tanzania, Russia, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, India, Mexico, and all over the United States.

Uganda Orphan sponsorship & sonshine school

Our largest outreach is our Uganda Orphan Sponsorship Ministry. We are responsible for 5 Rescue Units and over 800 children. To learn more, please visit www.KidsinUganda.org. River Valley Church also owns and operates Sonshine Christian Secondary School in Iganga, Uganda with over 450 students, and as of 2021, we have cut the ribbon and opened a primary school in Koboko, Uganda, which began January 10th, 2022.
