Where do I go?

The Downtown Campus Worship Center is located on 7th street between C and D streets, entry can be made from any side of the building.


Where should I park?
At the Downtown Campus, handicapped parking is available on the 7th Street side of the building. There are two primary other parking lots, one off 6th Street between C and D Streets, the other is off D Street between 6th and 7th Streets. Directions to all locations.
Let one of our friendly Greeters know it is your first time and they can direct you where the children go, where the restrooms are located, and where to find the ever popular Jar’s of Clay Coffee Shop, among other tidbits of information.

Where do my kids go? 
The Downtown Worship Center contains a Children’s Wing where children, birth through 5th grade, are taught God’s Word in a small group setting. See below for specific locations. For security and convenience, you will receive a numbered card or a pager when you drop off a child under the age of 5. For more information on our children’s programs visit our Children’s Ministry page (birth – 5th grade). Be sure to check out our awesome Preschool!

Students 6th -12th grade can attend our regular weekend services. They may sit with you but are also welcome to sit with other students at the service. During the week they are encouraged to attend one of our Student Ministry groups, Midway or CAD. To read more specifics about Midway or CAD, check out our Student Ministry page
What should I wear?
Whether you dress in slacks and dresses or jeans and a T-shirt we welcome you to come and join us as we worship our Lord and Savior.
Does the church have a coffee shop?
Yes, we do at our Downtown Campus! Jars of Clay is open Saturday & Sundays around service times and is located in the Worship Center Lobby on C & 7th Streets. Visit their Web page.
Am I expected to put money in the offering?
Visitors are not expected to put money in the offering, please do so only if God places it on your heart. The offering is a time for our regular church family to give back to God out of gratitude for all His provisions.
Is there special assistance for the hearing impaired?
Downtown Campus: Special devices that allow you to control the volume of how you hear the services are available from the sound desk in the Worship Center.

What is the best way to get connected at River Valley?
“Coffee with the Pastor” is designed to help you become familiar with our church and its ministries. It is very informal and questions are encouraged. Watch the Worship Program or check our calendar for the next one scheduled or ask your Campus Pastor about it.
How do I find out about Life Groups?
Attending Connecting Point is the best place to get an overview of our Life Group Ministry and ask any questions you may have.

How do I find Specialty Life Groups that are being offered?
We have a variety of Specialty Life Groups, some of which require registration and some that do not. We advertise upcoming classes on the home page of our website, on social media, and in our monthly and weekly Worship Program given to you by our friendly Greeters as you come to service. To see any Specialty Life Groups or River Valley Events that require registration, you can find them on our open registration page.
